Paddington is an area of West London located between two Royal Parks, Notting Hill and the West End. A casual walk through the suburb will lead to the pretty parks, gardens, squares, cafes, the Grand Union Canal and the Grade I listed London Paddington station designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
Historically, Paddington is famous for St Mary’s Hospital, where Nobel Prize winner Sir Alexander Fleming revolutionised the world of medicine with
his discovery of penicillin. It is also where Prince William, Prince Harry, Prince George and Princess Charlotte were all born.

Since the 1960s, Paddington Station has been synonymous with the famous children’s book character, Paddington Bear. The charming bronze statue of Paddington Bear under the clock on Platform 1. There is also the world’s only dedicated Paddington Bear shop in the station, which is great for souvenirs and gifts.

The Kensington Garden is a park planted with formal avenues of magnificent trees and ornamental flower beds and covers 100 hectares (275 acres). Enjoy a boat trip in Little Venice
Located where the Grand Union and Regent canals meet, the scenic neighbourhood of Little Venice is home to quaint waterside cafes, puppet shows, comforting pubs and charismatic restaurants. From canal boat trips to puppet shows, there’s plenty to do in this cheerful London area. If you get a chance, pay a visit to the Lord’s Cricket Ground, ZSL London Zoo and the Camden Town.

Have a look around the Floating Park
Moving up Praed Road, past the Paddington Basin, through Little Venice and Regents Park. There is a floating pocket park in the lake, a man-made island with floating pontoons, with plantings and wildlife habitat. If you decide to purchase a coffee, there’s a refreshment cart, but you can also hold your picnic and relax on the benches between the shrubs and the greenery.

Hyde Park is the largest green area in central London, very close to the hotel. London’s Hyde Park is one of the greatest city parks in the world. It has over 4,000 trees, a large lake, a meadow and ornamental flower gardens. Hyde Park in London has something for everyone. You can enjoy swimming, boating, cycling and skating. There are pitches for team games, tennis courts, tracks for horse riding and a spectacular children’s playground.
