Nayland Hotel’s Covid-19 Safety Measures and Preparations:

Nayland Hotel’s top-most priority is to serve its guests with a good standard of service, housekeeping, security, health and safety. The COVID-19 pandemic has required us to raise our standards to an even higher level with new procedures and guidelines for the current circumstances.

Our new hotel cleanliness program is here to help safeguard our guests and our team members. We have an effective system in place with best practices and high-level protocols that we have developed over the last several months, allowing our guests to be in a very peaceful state of mind on their stay with us and focus on enjoying the heart of London.

At Nayland Hotel, London, our priority as always is the health and wellbeing of all our teams, their families and our guests. We are closely monitoring and reviewing the advice issued by national health organisations, as well as the World Health Organisation and
we are taking all appropriate actions and precautionary measures within our hotel.

Our Advice to Guests:

If you’ve become ill in our hotel or feel you may have been in close contact with someone with confirmed Coronavirus (COVID-19):

  1. Stay in your room.
  2. Call reception immediately.
  3. Our reception team will contact the local Health Authorities on
    your behalf.
  4. If you call the local Health Authorities yourself, please advise our reception team immediately.
  5. Avoid contact with other guests or employees.

The symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19) are:

  • Dry cough
  • High temperature
  • Shortness of breath

Reception and Public Areas

  • Regularly we disinfect the reception area, the breakfast room, the bar and the public areas.
  • Our team disinfects every bedroom of the hotel when there is a check-out.
  • Hand sanitizer is available and accessible at all times in the reception and breakfast room. We recommend guests to use hand sanitizer at a regular interval when you come in contact with these high touch areas around the hotel and use sanitizer before and after coming into contact like the:
  1. Door handles
  2. Water taps
  3. Light switches
  4. Telephones
  5. Waste bins
  6. Desks
  7. Shelves
  8. Grab rails
  • Screens are placed at the reception area to make sure that social distancing guidelines are maintained between our guests and hotel staff. We also regularly disinfect the reception area.
  • All guestroom key cards are disinfected well before and after use.
  • The hotel has introduced cashless payment and eliminated cash payments to help reduce contact between our team and guests at the front desk.
  • To ease the guest flow through the hotel, guests are encouraged to use the stairs where possible.
  • Our team regularly clean the reception area, including disinfecting all surfaces after the guest’s check-in and check-out.

The Definition of Close Contact That You Need to Know:

Any individual who has had greater than 15 minutes face-to-face (less than 2 metres distance) with a confirmed case of Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Household contacts defined as living or sleeping in the same home, individuals in shared accommodation sharing kitchen or bathroom facilities.

Our Staff And Employees

  • We have increased all hygiene training, including compulsory online training for all of our staff members and employees.
  • We have a contingency plan that is aligned with the government guidelines and regulations, which is reviewed regularly following government guidelines.
  • There are new operating procedures for cleaning and sanitising all areas throughout the hotel, which is adhered to by all team members.
  • All front desk team have access to protective equipment during their daily work requirements like the face masks, visors, disposable gloves and other safety gears.
